Vegan Baked Beans

Savory baked beans on toasted bread with plant-based breakfast patties and grilled tomatoes...everything I love about breakfast and definitely something my weekend needs! Delicious and simple to make. Hope you love!







The Recipe

Vegan Baked Beans

Ingredients

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup / 250 ml crushed tomato sauce

1/2 cup / 120 ml vegetable stock

4 tablespoons tomato paste

1 teaspoon marjoram

1 teaspoon vegan Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons sugar (optional)

1 sprig of rosemary

3 sprigs of thyme

salt and black pepper to taste

1 teaspoon paprika powder

2 cans beans, drained

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 450 °F / 230 °C.

2. In a bowl combine tomato sauce, tomato paste, vegetable stock, minced garlic, spices, sugar, herbs and beans. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a baking dish and bake for about 45 minutes.

3. Serve on toasted bread with plant-based breakfast patties, grilled tomatoes and vegan scrambled "egg", if desired. ENJOY!
