I just love the coziness of autumn. All the beautiful leaves, a warm cup of tea and of course a delicious slice of cake. Today we enjoy this vegan chai spiced pear bread. Beyond good and really easy to make! Hope you love!
The Recipe
Vegan chai spiced pear bread
Ingredients
2 cups / 300 g all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 full teaspoon chai spice
1/3 cup / 35 g almond flour
1/2 cup / 100 g sugar
1 cup / 250 ml plant-based milk (I used oat milk)
1/3 cup / 75 ml vegetable oil (I used sunflower oil)
3 ripe pears, peeled and stem removed
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 °F / 180 °C.
2. In a bowl combine flour, baking powder, almond flour, chai spice, sugar, oat milk and vegetable oil. Mix with a high speed mixer until smooth. Roughly grate the peeled pears and combine. Transfer cake batter to a loaf pan and bake for about 1 hour.
3. Allow to cool before removing from the pan. Decorate with vegan white chocolate or powdered sugar, if desired. Slice and ENJOY!
