Vegan Pizza Napoletana
Ingredients
For the dough
1 cup / 120 g bread flour
1 cup / 120 g spelt flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon active dry yeast
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup / 120 ml luke warm water
For the sauce:
1 cup / 240 ml crushed canned tomato sauce
salt and garlic pepper to taste
Mozzarella (see recipe here)
fresh basil
Instructions
1. To make the dough combine flour, yeast, salt and water in a medium sized bowl and knead by hand until smooth. Let rise for at least one hour.
2. Preheat oven to 410 °F / 210 °C.
3. On a lightly floured surface roll out the dough very thin. Place the dough on a lightly greased baking sheet. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza dough. Add mozzarella cheese and fresh basil. Drizzle with olive oil.
4. Bake for about 15 minutes. ENJOY!
